Shade Sail Options
Overlapping sails, where practical, can provide a visually appealing aesthetic. For shading, four-point sails provide more sun protection than triangles. We’ve fabricated and installed sails up to 8 points for maximum coverage. Shade sail post heights often vary and should align with how the sun moves throughout the season.
Most sails are for sun protection and are considered seasonal products in New England; they need to be removed before snowy weather. Rain protection can be offered but requires different fabrics and additional engineering requirements to handle wind loads.
